Shane Griffin is Chief Financial Officer of Walbro LLC. He also oversees the finance and admin departments. Shane joined Walbro in June 2004 and has held a variety of positions in the finance and accounting department. In 2005, he moved to Japan on assignment to help support the Regional Finance Director of Asia. He returned to the US in late 2008 as Lawn & Garden North America Controller. In Nov 2011, he was appointed Regional Controller USA leading audit, regional consolidation work and implementation of global metrics for measuring the cash conversion cycle. In April 2014, Shane returned to Japan as Finance Director and soon thereafter was appointed as Business Unit Controller for the FC business. In Feb 2016, he negotiated the sale of and managed the divestiture of this business unit. Shane then took on the role of Global Operations Controller partnering with the COO to manage 5 plants around the world. In Oct 2018, Shane accepted his role as Global Corporate Controller. In February 2022, Shane accepted his current role as CFO.
Shane earned a Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance with a minor in Japanese from Utah State University.
Shane is married with 5 children and enjoys reading, sports, the Japanese language and spending time in nature with his family.
